Ce corridor n\u2019est pas qu\u2019un simple axe routier\u202f: il est appel\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir un vecteur de commerce, d\u2019int\u00e9gration et de d\u00e9veloppement inclusif.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"284\" height=\"356\" src=\"https:\/\/journalintegration.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Capture-decran-2026-02-22-160518.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49942\" srcset=\"https:\/\/journalintegration.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Capture-decran-2026-02-22-160518.jpg 284w, https:\/\/journalintegration.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Capture-decran-2026-02-22-160518-239x300.jpg 239w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 284px) 100vw, 284px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de la BEI autour du MINTP<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>L\u2019importance de cette infrastructure r\u00e9side d\u2019abord dans sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faciliter les \u00e9changes entre un port strat\u00e9gique et l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du continent. Douala, hub logistique majeur, constitue le point de passage pour de nombreux produits import\u00e9s et export\u00e9s vers la R\u00e9publique centrafricaine. Aujourd\u2019hui, le corridor est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis historiques\u202f: routes d\u00e9grad\u00e9es, zones enclav\u00e9es et acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 aux march\u00e9s pour les producteurs locaux. Ces contraintes ralentissent les transactions, alourdissent les co\u00fbts logistiques et freinent l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est dans ce contexte que le minist\u00e8re des Travaux Publics (MINTP) du Cameroun et la Banque Islamique de D\u00e9veloppement (BID) envisagent d\u2019intensifier leur coop\u00e9ration. Le 18 f\u00e9vrier dernier \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9, la mission de la BID, conduite par Hammad Hundal, a confirm\u00e9 la volont\u00e9 de financer la r\u00e9habilitation et la modernisation de l\u2019axe, sous r\u00e9serve des \u00e9tudes techniques n\u00e9cessaires. L\u2019objectif\u202f: transformer le corridor en un v\u00e9ritable catalyseur \u00e9conomique capable de desservir les populations locales tout en soutenant le commerce r\u00e9gional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices attendus sont multiples. Pour les producteurs centrafricains, l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 Douala permettra de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de transport et de limiter les pertes li\u00e9es aux mauvaises conditions routi\u00e8res. Pour le Cameroun, c\u2019est l\u2019occasion de renforcer son r\u00f4le de hub logistique et de consolider les recettes li\u00e9es au transit. Au-del\u00e0 des aspects \u00e9conomiques, la route favorisera la coh\u00e9sion sociale et le d\u00e9senclavement des communaut\u00e9s rurales qui vivent le long du corridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, le projet comporte aussi des d\u00e9fis. La s\u00e9curisation des tron\u00e7ons sensibles, la gestion des impacts environnementaux et l\u2019entretien p\u00e9renne de la route exigent une planification rigoureuse. Les autorit\u00e9s camerounaises et la BID semblent conscientes que ce corridor ne doit pas seulement \u00eatre construit, mais surtout durable et inclusif.
