Mis en \u0153uvre par le groupement d\u2019entreprises SEAS-COSEDIL, le projet inclut la construction d&rsquo;une route de 1 x 2 voies, large de 3,5 m\u00e8tres, avec une vitesse de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de 60 km\/h. Il pr\u00e9voit 59 ouvrages de drainage transversaux, 13 ponts totalisant 260 m\u00e8tres, des am\u00e9nagements de carrefours, ainsi que des \u00e9quipements de signalisation et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la revue des questions environnementales li\u00e9es au projet, conform\u00e9ment aux exigences du bailleur de fonds, les travaux de terrassement ont repris sur le site de construction de la route le 23 juin dernier. En d\u00e9pit des pluies enregistr\u00e9es dans la zone d\u2019intervention du projet, l\u2019entreprise en charge des travaux se d\u00e9ploie sur le terrain par des t\u00e2ches de d\u00e9broussaillement, le nettoyage de l\u2019emprise et de terrassement entre les points kilom\u00e9triques 0 et 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fois le projet achev\u00e9, la route Olounou-Oveng-fronti\u00e8re Gabon devrait non seulement am\u00e9liorer les conditions de vie des populations locales en facilitant l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux services essentiels, mais \u00e9galement accro\u00eetre les \u00e9changes transfrontaliers, favoriser l\u2019\u00e9vacuation des productions agricoles et dynamiser le commerce et l\u2019\u00e9conomie entre le Cameroun et le Gabon.
